I would like to recognise Eva Derkits who works in Lower Austria with young male refugees from many different countrieswho are seeking asylum in Austria but are not permitted to work.
These inclusive and energizing hours spent together give these young people a chance to be a part of the local community and for the local community to get to know them. Eva’s work also helps to show the outside world that Austria has a tolerant, generous and embracing politics at a local level!
