Liz King deserves all the recognition possible for her contribution to dance in Austria over the last 40 years. A creator of ground breaking and often radical work, she has also been a mentor for young dancers and choreographers, recognising their individual gifts , supporting their futures. A founder of many important artistic initiatives she has more recently used her artistic medium of dance to support the integration of young and often traumatized migrants and has given them, and herself, new meaning in life. I recognise Liz as an irrepressible force for creativity and tolerance and not least as a loyal and true friend and colleague.
